OUR JOURNEY... a stewardship program that will:    1. Build relationships through involvement of the entire church body        in prayer, teaching and fellowship    2. Grow more and better Christian leaders by reaching out to new        volunteer leaders    3.Teach Biblical principles of sacrificial giving for the benefit of       God’s Kingdom OUR JOURNEY... has already begun!   Coastal is embarking on a stewardship program which we’ve titled, “OUR JOURNEY.” Beginning shortly after Easter Sunday, March 23rd, you will see and hear more about this concentrated effort to help Coastal Community Church continue to grow, both spiritually and numerically. After all, the mission of Coastal is to make more and better followers of Jesus Christ!   The emphasis during OUR JOURNEY will be on spiritual growth and stewardship within the church body. No one will be put on the spot about giving...but you undoubtedly will find yourself challenged when you ask, “Lord, what would you do through me to accomplish Your will at Coastal?” God has great plans for Coastal, and we want everyone to play a part.   Imagine a day when our Corporate Landing congregation can move into its own place… being able to offer ministry 24/7…providing a permanent base from which to serve our community…being good stewards of our finances and man-hours. What will our children’s faces look like when they come to church on Sunday and see on the wall the same finger painting they hung the week before?   Imagine a day when our Glenwood congregation can become true homeowners…pursuing new, innovative ministries…and continue developing a site that reaches out to the growing community. Can you see our teenagers today as the church leaders of tomorrow?   Imagine a day when we plant a third campus...where will it be? Who else needs to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ? We’ve been overwhelmed by the energy and enthusiasm of our leaders who have started their training and preparation for OUR JOURNEY. It’s not too late to help out if you want to be a part of the committed volunteer teams! We have an experienced consultant who will be with us every step of OUR JOURNEY, and the teams are built so that no individual is overburdened. We know that “many hands make light work.”
